Captain Garard is a firefighter and paramedic for Sun City, Arizona.
He was born and raised in Arizona, the youngest of four children.
He served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer in Germany.
He has been a paramedic for sixteen years and teaches EMT classes
on the side. Previously, Captain Garard flew as a respiratory therapist
for AirEvac NICU units. He and Joanne Cacciatore met in 1997 and
they live in Anthem with their children ages 6-17.
