Infant Death Group co-facilitator Seattle/Vashon, Washington Chapter

Hawk Jones founded KotaPress (www.KotaPress.com) with his wife Kara after the death of their son Dakota. He uses photography and digital arts to explore the world and give visual expression to the full range of human emotion and experience. He co-facilitates the WA MISS Chapter's Infant Death Group in the Pacific NW and is one of the MISS Foundation moderators for the Father's Board on the National website. Through KotaPress, Hawk is currently working on the Mrs. Duck Project which aims to create an animated version of the storybook Mrs. Duck and The Woman. This Project is also filming a documentary with several bereaved families who are giving voice to grief and their "Different Kind of Parenthood" over the course of time. Hawk & Kara hope to eventually release an expanded version of the storybook, the animation, and the documentary as a comprehensive tool for parents and caregivers like those at the MISS Foundation.
