| Somers Point, New Jersey MISS Facilitator
My name is Kathy Evans; I am 43 years old and married to David for 14 years now. We have four children, David Jr. (or DJ as we call him) he is just turning 13 in March. Kate our only daughter is 11, and Christopher is 8. Sean our youngest died at birth November 8, 1997 (39 weeks) due to a Dr's error. My educational background includes a BA in Education, and experience with Special Needs Children. I was also an Emergency Medical Technician for 16 years. I presently own my own home based business. I became involved with MISS in 1997 right after Sean's death. I opened the first Chapter of MISS outside of Arizona in 1998. I am presently the Facilitator, and New Jersey State Coordinator of MISS. I also became involved in The Compassionate Friends in 1998. I am presently on their Steering Committee and The Regional Coordinator of the State of New Jersey. 4ourkids@comcst.net |
