Soft as the fall of petals on the sand
Along the dunes where we once walked together;
And in the sun, I thought I felt your hand.
Down shore-swept winds I thought
I heard you calling
Your joyful shouts as oceans to the sky
Then answering again I heard your laughter
Blown back to me as in some old reply.
I thought I heard you walking close beside me;
following on the shore these wave-formed rings
Then as I turn with eager word to greet you,
And eagle born skyward, dipped its silver wings.

This is the house that love built.
Memories of you are built in each wall.
Warm tender seas, still haunt my dreams,
Thought I just heard your voice,..in the hall
The mirrors reflect all the Heartache I feel,
Smiling Photographs don't seem real.
Nothings been Moved,
But everything has changed...
Each chair is in its place...
Just my life is rearranged.
The wind cries your name,
Through each window and door,
But You’re Not Here Anymore.
The fire light still burns a warm blue,
The mantle is cool, holing pictures of you.
Your scent lingers here, In the rooms that we shared.
These rooms are unkind to play tricks on my mind.
I can't see how, you would leave without me.
Nothings been moved...but everythings changed..
Each chair in its place... Just my life is rearranged..

Little one, you are no longer in our arms
but will always be in ourhearts.
You were a joy like no other bounds.
A life so short but powerful.
You are now our brightness from the sun,
the star in the night,
and you are our dreams in flight.
When you smiled,
our hearts would soar,
that smile we can see no more.
But our memories cannot close that door.
We cannot hold you in my arms again,
but little one we will always remember when.
We pray that you are safe and warm,
in this special place, your new home.
We know we have you held so close,
can never let you go,
but until we meet again, My Angel,
I just wanted to let you know,
There's a special place in all our hearts,
a place that only you could go.
