What is the cost of the workshop?
There is no cost to your facility for the workshop. We are an IRS 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

What is required for the workshop?
We suggest a television, vcr, and a video (digital) projector.

How long does the workshop last?
It lasts from four to eight hours.

How do we schedule a workshop?
Contact Joanne Cacciatore at 623.979.1000 voice 623.979.1001 fax or email to joanne@missfoundation.org Please allow three to four weeks to schedule.

Who should attend this workshop?
Any professional who deals with grieving families, including: NICU staff, funeral home staff, emergency room medical personnel, labor and delivery medical personnel, first responders, clergy, social workers.

What about continuing education?
Credit is available through the Arizona Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers and also 8.2 contact hours available through AzNA for nurses.

We already have an RTS Program. Do we still need this?
Many of our current workshops are held at facilities which already have an RTS or similar grief program. This is an excellent reinforcement to your staff that they are supporting parents the way parents are asking to be supported. It will enhance their ability to understand families because they hear directly from bereaved parents at the workshop. It is unique from other workshops of its kind.

The light is here
I think I have reached it
Sometimes I go back into the darkness
And the pain returns like a flood
But most often these days
I linger in the light
Where I can cherish you
And see you clearly
In the light
